Has anyone canceled and then scheduled for a new date, instead of rescheduling?

Since I didn't know when exactly to reschedule for, and the fees were equal, I went ahead and canceled on prometric.com. I thought they'd keep $25 and refund the rest, but they actually kept the original amount and took $25 more. Does that mean when I schedule for a new test date in a later date, they would count that as a 'reschedule' and require another payment of $25 (so i end up paying $50 extra to rechedule)?

I thought if you canceled you have to pay another $325 to sign up. Your best bet is to rescehdule

hmmmmmm it doesn't make much sense to me to lose all+pay a fee, when you could make no effort to free up a seat and don't pay a fee... In any case, will call & update🙂

I canceled mine initially and then rescheduled it to a later date and they only charged me 25 dollars.

I canceled my test because I wanted to reschedule my test a month after the year grace period allowed for rescheduling and they charged me $25 to cancel and then $325 for the new test. It sucked because they said that if you make any changes to the test date or time including canceling it then it is a $25 fee. You can on the other hand reschedule your test without having to pick a new date. You just have to reschedule within a year from your initial approval to test. They always take the $25 up front.

Hope this helps!!!

Well, it is a total loss if you cancel your appointment. I meant everything; therefore, I would suggest that you reschedule, and it only costs $25 every time you do it. Well, I did 5 times because I always felt like I was not ready. Finally, I did it, and it's not that bad, just be ready...!
