Has anybody cancelled an interview yet?

I am debating whether I should cancel one of my interviews. I've already gone to one interview and have 4 more lined up this month alone. It's putting a real strain on me school-wise since I'm taking a full 16 unit course load. I basically have one interview a week plus two on the last week of Sept. For each one I have to fly across the country.

I'm really interested in all the schools that have offered me an interview and I really can't decide between them. I know I would be happy going to anyone of them. Is it safe to cancel one? Then again I don't want to pass a chance to get accepted to an dental school and end up regretting it for the rest of my life. Should I cancel?

What my questions is....Why apply to them if you're not going to go to the interview? I thought of this when I was deciding which schools to apply to. I applied to 14 schools and if I get invited to all, I'm going! I don't want to take any chances....not now....not when I've come this far...

I agree with Generallee, you're in school right now because you're working towards dental school admission. It's a shame the interviews are affecting your coursework, but you've just got to suck it up and work harder when you can. Just think of all the work you've already put into your application, I wouldn't want to jeopardize it. I don't think it makes sense to cancel an interview until you have been accepted to the school you absolutely want to attend. Unfortunately, 4 interviews might not equal 1 acceptance.

Wow, people on sdn really do want to help each other. I would of thought people would tell me not to go in order to cut the competition. Afterall I'm probably interviewing at the same schools GeneralLee and mochafreak are applying to.

Good to know there are honest people here.

here is my advice.. don't go to any others.. you already got accepted to the first one right??

no you have to go to all just because you might actually like one of htem better when you see it.. and also you might not get into others doh
