Cannot submit LOR online

My professor just told me he had a hard time to submit the LOR online to AADSAS. I've seen someone asked about the same problem here but cannot find the thread now. So I am bring this question up again:

Should I ask all my references to send the LORs by mail instead? What is my best option?

BTW, is it necessary to mail the LORs directly to dental schools besides AADSAS?
