I have been accepted to University of Michigan, NYU, Pitt, and U Conn. I can't decide where to go. I liked all of them but I just don't know how to decide.
can someone please give me an unbiased opinion?
Thanks

Go to the cheapest

wow congratulations to you!

you should re-examine what you want in a school. what are you planning on doing after graduating dental school? thinking of specializing? look at the school's specialty programs, if they have any. thinking of teaching or academics? look at their opportunities in research. if you have specific questions, you should try asking those who met when you went to interview at the schools because they should have a better perspective. good luck on making ur choice!

As I've said before, whatever you do, make sure you are prepared to tolerate the abuse at UConn (and I'm not talking about the academics). pm me if you want details

If money doesnt matter than NYU is the best.....

otherwise UCONN..

Congrats. I'd go Michigan. U Conn would be my last choice. People in the dental forum aren't too keen on U Conn.

Pick the location.

UConn is a fantastic school and I would go there in a heartbeat if given the chance. You get in-state tuition after year one if I'm correct so if it's out-of-state now, it wouldn't be for long!

I agree though. Go to whatever would be the cheapest. All great schools.

you'll become a dentist either way...go w/ best location and lowest tuition b/c all schools you mentioned are good

Every opinion is biased in this forum. Just in case you didn't know.

UConn is the a great school, with extremely high board scores. It's probably one of the best school if you want to specialize. I wouldn't listen to what people say about UConn on this forum, I personally know a lot of people there and they love it their, they said the faculty and administration are amazing and like other schools they simply put people in line who dont know how to act professional. They have the reputation for excellence for a reason; they produce very competent dentists, so whatever they're doing they're doing it right. A couple years back they were ranked number one in the country for board scores and are consistently in the top 5!! Im sold!!
