As of now, I'm currently taking 15 credit hours worth of class this coming Fall.
My classes are:

Physics 1 + lab (5cr)
A&P 1 + lab (4 cr)
Speech class (3cr)
English Comp (3cr)

While this should keep me busy since Physics and A&P are time consuming, I'm thinking of adding another class. It's called "Fitness for Living" (pre-req for my major) and it's a 4 credit class. Obviously this would put me up to 19 hours which is a lot. The thing is though, I have heard from other people who have taken it that it is a VERY easy class. While I think I would be okay taking it and going with 19 credit hours this semester, everyone I have talked to has advised me to NOT take 19 credits.

Things to consider:
- I am a sophomore and last year I took 15 credits both semesters and end up with a 3.92 GPA
- I play baseball at a large Division I school, and this is very time consuming
-19 credits + baseball all the time = not much room to do EC's during the school year.

What do you guys think? Should I add on the last second class?
Thanks for your help!

You're a sophomore, why can't you take it later?

Thanks for the quick reply,

As for your question, I feel as though I'm sort of behind because I switched my majors between freshman/sophomore years. I guess I feel like since it's a super easy class, it really doesn't matter if it's 1 credit or 5 credits. Is this dumb of me?

If it were me, I would just schedule the class another semester. Sad fact of the matter in med school apps is that a good GPA is critical and it would be poor advice to put that at risk. However if you are confident you can handle it, by all means. Even easy classes require a lot of work sometimes.

That's what I have been thinking. It would be dumb to jeopardize my cGPA and sGPA just for the sake of taking some dumb pre-req class and overloading my schedule.
