Can't do patten folding

Have you looked at KBB's section on pattern folding? It gives you tricks on how to fold certain shapes. The best advice I would say is focus on one part of the pattern that is unique and start from there. You can eliminate some of the answers by doing that since some are obviously incorrect. The harder ones are where they mix complex patterns with complex folding and I would say skip those and go for the easier ones. Once your done, go back and give an educated guess because unless you have great skills, it's really hard to keep track of everything moving around. Also you are folding the shapes into the page.

Yeah,
The problem for me is that when you have to look at the backside of the folded object - fold the object and rotate it around. For example, like on this problem:

My brain cannot hold the image and rotate it. I mean, I am having trouble even getting the edges connected. Do you fold the image in your head then rotate it? Or do you use techniques, like for TFE where you can count lines?

Answer is B, You don't need to rotate the whole picture. You focus on the face of the object in front of you and you rotate the top to match it. If the front face is correct and the top and sides don't match up, you can eliminate it. Cubes are very easy to do. The hard ones are like multiple triangles or multiple shapes with multiple patterns on it. You should use the same technique if you use a 6 sided cube for this problem.
