Can't find option for prelim medicine

I am trying to search programs on eras. There is a transitional year button but not a prelim one. How do i search for prelim programs?

I assume you mean FREIDA, rather than ERAS. I have no idea on ERAS but if you find a program in FREIDA you can put it's number in ERAS.

On FREIDA it's in the optional criteria section. Choose IM as the specialty and then hit the "choose optional criteria" button. Halfway down is a dropdown that allows you to select whether you want to search for programs that offer preliminary positions.

Search IM then you select the program. If they have a preliminary option, check the box.
