Question Can't reply

So, in the EM forum, I commented on anonymous moderation. A moderator replied, but didn't address my point. I tried to reply, but, got a pop up that said I "don't have sufficient privileges" to reply, or something similar, but the thread isn't locked, and I haven't been banned (that I can see, and would be very chilling, if I was). Also, there is no text box beneath for me to put in any new post (even if not replying). Is there any clarity?

Or, is this the infamous "banned from that thread"?
