Gotta love the CAP. They want a “comprehensive explanation” from Anthem blues as to why the rate cut, etc.
OK, CAP. How about:
1. We need to increase our profits for our shareholders.
2. We can.
Oh, doh, we see now. Thank you.

Useless organization. And (just about) all the mailings I am getting from folks who want to be the next CAP honcho are academics.

This is NOT going to get better.

I’ve spoken with representatives from the economic affairs committee and hit this brick wall because 99% of their resources are directed at Medicare reimbursement, not private payers. Not in the least bit helpful.
