Cap and Gown pic?

Think a nice (professional) graduation pic in cap & gown is ok for a 2x2 application pic?

I mean its no different besides I have a cap and gown on.... but I guess thats not formal enough/ appropriate... which is what I was asking...

Regardless Im not going to get a passport pic taken... I'm just going to have someone take a nice pic and print it out nicely the right size

any photo software can print out pictures in 2x2 size. take a digital picture that you like, crop it to 2x2 in the head/shoulders area, and print that sucker out. takes 15 minutes.

exactly what i said id do... but im just saying I like my grad photo a lot... I think i look very mature and professional... but maybe Cap and gown isnt the appropriate attire... which is what I was asking

while you, your family and your friends may be very proud of your graduation, and not to detract from your accomplishment, your graduation photos are something you would send family, not an admissions committee. Would you put that photo on your CV or include it?

You're better off getting a "professional" headshot; i.e. you in professional attire.

That's what I did. The photo was taken at a not so appropriate place and looking at it, no one would ever know but me 🙄

I'd pass up the cap and gown shot too but if that's all you have, I'm sure it wouldn't cause a rejection.

I would show some cleavage... That's how I got in... just kidding. I wish I had some of that 🙁
