I am a predent with a question. I have a cap on a tooth and lately when I chew with it I get a funny taste in my mouth. Is this something I should be concerned about? It is not a pleasant taste, but really hard to describe exactly what it tastes like. I had endo work done on it about a year ago, a root canal had to be replaced. This is a serious question and I would just like to know if this should be a serious concern or nothing to worry about.

If this was not happening before, then obviously something new is going on with the restoration. I would definitely go see your dentist and get it checked out. Without taking a look at it, no one on here is going to be able to diagnose your problem.

Hello there predent. In your interviews, don't call those things caps. 😉

Sorry, but SDN isn't a patient consultation website. If you have any questions about your restoration, you should call or visit your dentist.
