hey

so im studying for the dat.. maybe some of u guys can help with this.. you know in the Organic Chem. section of kaplan blue book, how it has a setion on sugars (carbs) and their structures, reactions, etc. Does that appear on the DAT? Also, wat about that section on lab material (extraction, titrations, etc). Does that stuff show up?

I'm jus asking cuz in my Organic that I took at my school for 2 semesters, we never went into much detail for that carbohydrate part.

That is actually part of biochemistry (I know a few organic classes that have gone into it). Both of the things that you mentioned showed up on my exam that I took in 2003, so definitely brush up on it. Especially extractions and chromotography
