How does cardiac output affect the speed of emergence from volatile anesthetics? We know high cardiac output slows induction, what about emergence?

Maybe on some theoretical level it matters, but I've never heard it discussed as a meaningful contributor in timing wake ups.

I'm a lot more concerned about when to turn off the gas in some 350 lb fatty vs. how their CO will effect emergence.

Higher cardiac output will generally speed emergence. It seems of minimal significance relative to FGF, MV, and solubility characteristics/tissues stores of the volatile agent being used, however.
