Cardiologist opportunity in a family friendly city in Oklahoma.
Opportunity for a hospital employed general Cardiologist in a family friendly city in Oklahoma. Join six other Cardiologists all of them doing general Cardiology and most do interventional, one does EP, and one does invasive. Very busy practice with high demand. Clinic work varies by provider, but is between 3-5 days a week and they average 15-35 patients a day depending on the call schedule with call being 1-6. Interventions done at the hospital. Three satellite clinics in rotation. There are two Cardiothoracic surgeons. There is an opportunity to teach in two Family Medicine residency programs.
The Hospital is a 283-bed regional referral center and integrated delivery system providing medical services in virtually every specialty. Call Ratio: 1:6
Teaching Opportunity: 3 residency programs on site (2 FM and 1 ER)
Reason for Opening: 1 physician is going to retire in the next 12-18 months.
