agree with the above post about Ochsner...
have had several residents from my IM program go there over the years.
It has the reputation of being the best fellowship program in the area and of being very heavy on the interventional cards focus.
I have heard it's quite busy and very private-practice oriented, so might not be the best place to go if you want an academic career, but if you want to do interventional cards could be ideal. I heard it's a bit of a macho boys' club as well, but not sure if that's true vs. not.
