Hi, I am interested in applying for cardiology fellowship next year. Currently, I am planning to join Army through the MAVNI program and become a citizen soon. However, in ERAS application, I have to mention that I will have military service obligation as a reserve. Would that be a hinderance for me to get into fellowship. How seriously do the programs consider military service obligation? Anyone with valuable inputs are appreciated.
