Hey everyone current PGY1 in an academic IM in midwest. I was wondering is it feasible to pursue Cardiology with only have taking COMLEX. I have no red flags and currently pursuing research. My program is academic and has tons of in house fellowships. My level 2 is in the 520s and Level 1 pass first time. Taking Level 3 next month. I was wondering if Cardio is still in the cards focusing on former AOA programs? I have no red flags. Should I try other fellowships if Cardiology is not feasible interested in PCCM as well! Thanks any advice from current residents, fellows, or PDs would be appreciated!
