Cardiology fellowship Match Contract

Dear cardiology forum members and attendings. I would like to know when you receive the match contract for cardiology ? 🙂

I believe it varies by program, but I received mine in April the year after I matched (i.e. matched in 07 for the fellowship program starting 08-09, didn't get my contract and other information until April 08).

You might consider contacting the program administrator to confirm that you didn't miss anything.

Once we certified our rank lists, we had essentially signed a match contract with any of those programs which may eventually take us. The programs won't finalize housestaff contracts for the 2009 year until around the time of residency match next year, I suppose, since they don't currently know the 2009-10 stipends, benefits, etc.
