So I did an Cardiovascular Clinical research for my local medical school for about 100 hours (100 hours of training) and I quit to study for the MCAT. I told them I would be back after my MCAT. I did not like working there at ALL as it was an alright experience, but they require 20 hours per week!!!!! Now I have an opportunity to do Economic research that is way less intense and way fewer hours and more interesting!

So my question is 1) Which opportunity is more valuable between clinical research and economic research and 2) You think I am allowed to put in 100 hours of clinical research experience on my application next year? Most of those hours were training/shadowing experience although I did learn a lot anyway. Thanks in advance!

Totally do econ research. Your clinical research doesn't sound like something you'll be able to speak too fondly of in an interview. Just do things that you like.

As for reporting 100 hours of clinical research, I dunno as that was part of a training. Hopefully, others will chime in. Good luck!
