Cardiovascular technology/cath lab?

Is anyone else interested in being a cardiovascular technologist/cath lab tech? I posted here because I know cath lab ties into radiology (forgive me if I'm wrong) and I don't know if that many people have ever even heard of it, let alone are interested.

This is a forum for the physician medical specialty of radiology. I'm afraid you will probably have little luck finding technologists to talk to, let alone for cardiac intervention, though often IR techs and CV techs overlap.
