Hey, has anyone on here done an externship at Carle? I was wondering if somebody would be willing to give me their thoughts/details on the externship?

I went and I loved it both as an externship and as a training program! I am a huge fan and cannot say enough good things about the program. As far as the externship went for me it was a great experience. Officially it is observation only but you know how it goes if they like you. Also they gave me a very nice call room to have for myself the whole two weeks I was there. Also all my food was free at the hospital which was pretty good. So my only expenditure was airfare. That was a nice perk. It is not a place where you get to do a lot of OMS as an extern like LSU, but it is an excellent first exposure to OMS. It is also a good one if you are trying to get into the program. Good luck!
