I want to be a dentist but I’m worried about carpal tunnel. How likely is it that a dentist will develop carpal tunnel? Are you personally worried about it or is it just kinda ridiculous to be concerned about it.
You can get carpal tunnel from repeated movements in any job field, including office jobs. Look into proper ergonomics and take care of your overall health, and you should decrease your chances of getting it. It’s definitely not a reason to forego pursuing dentistry.
