Hey, I just wanted to know what Carribbean Dental Schools are? A classmate of mine said her sister is in D-school and I assumed it was NYU or Columbia or Stony Brook cause I live in NYC. She was like "No, she goes to dental school in the carribbean". I was just like I've never heard of that. Thats like going to Cabo to party! 🙂 So what is a Carribbean Dental School? Thanks!

University of Puerto Rico dental school.
There probably are dental schools in the Carribean, so I don't think the friend was referring to UPR (it is American after all). I've heard about medical programs down there, where they recruit American faculty to teach American students, like Ross U. However I'm not so sure if Caribbean DS would meet the standards of CODA and the ADA.

Yea I'm sure she said her sister was going to become a Dentist. I'm not sure why someone would go out of the country to become a Doctor. I just dont get it, the best schools are in America. I was wondering if the D-schools are even approved by the ADA?

If you think really hard, I'm sure it'll come to you. I doubt anyone is this clueless...
