This thread is for any of you who have remaining questions regarding the need for waxing/carving skills as prerequisites for Oral Surgery residency.

Please no personal insults allowed. I did not open this thread with the hopes that some more juvenile humour would commence. I promise.

So has anyone had any trouble waxin' it in dental school?

Trouble waxin in dental school? The only trouble with waxin in dental school that I had was with a few female patients with hursitism.... their refusal to "a little waxin" made doing dentistry a little tricky....

nothing you couldn't solve with a little extra impression material in the anterior of the maxillary tray... With one foul-swoop you can get a perfect impression and provide a cosmetic hair removal
