case and buffalo- required attendance

do these schools have required attendance for lectures during first and second year (i'm not talking lab classes or clinical rotations)...?

At Case, certain classes require you to sign an attendance sheet, but I would say the majority of the classes don't. I would usually go to every class for about the first 2 weeks of each semester, and by then I knew which classes were safe to miss. Also, most of the professors post their powerpoints online, so you don't have to worry about missing a handout for the most part.
