Does anyone know the next time the Case Admissions Committee will meet to discuss applicants they've interviewed? Did they do it yesterday? And then, how long does it take for them to send out the verdict? Thanks.

I interviewed on Friday. Mr. Essman told me that the committee met on Monday and that Ms. Rosenblum would update our files either today or tomorrow... aah.

Since all my other iApply emails have come in ~7pm, im betting we'll here in 80 minutes, or same time tomorrow.

It's my top choice, so im really really really hoping for an acceptance, and im really hoping not to get a rejection... I can deal with the hold...

yeah, but when I was grabbing my suitcase from the admissions office, I ran into Mr. Essman (Director of Admissions) and he said I'd get an email on Tuesday or Wednesday... I'm about to check my page though...

I wouldn't worry or read too much into this. I recall that on sdn, when people first started hearing from case on the 15th, both acceptances and holds were sent out. So maybe tonight will the be the night. Case is very prompt in their response, so you might get something tonight then.

Did anybody actually get in just now? Just curious... also I don't see any new entries on MDapps.com..

yeah.. this doesn't make sense... Case is supposed to accept ~50% of interviewees (although im sure the % of interviewees accepted immediately is lower)

i think they said they meet every 2 weeks, so our apps should be up for review each time, and a final decision may be made at any of those meetings. bright side, being on hold is better than the waitlist

No. This is not true. They will not re-evaluate on-hold people until February.

Are you baseing that off what I said in another thread or did you hear that directly from Case? Just want to be sure that I didn't misinterpret the e-mail I received.

I was also placed on hold...I think that we are reviewed at the end of the admissions season, as they want to compare us with the folks that they interview later on.

It is odd that no other SDNers have been accepted to Case this round...
