Does everyone's update on AADSAS say primary under invited for interview? Does this mean you are being considered for a primary seat or is everyone in the same boat?

I got the same update. Later you will receive a letter for an interview for a primary seat. I think Case is conducting the interviews late compared to other schools. I called immediately after receiving my letter (which was in September) and my interview is in February.

Quite the contrary, Case is THE earliest interviewing school. They began sending out invitations in early June. When I received my invitation in August, the earliest date I could get was in November. On a seperate note, my AADSAS also says "primary," so I think that's just how Case chose to designate interviews

Hey Epictetus21, when in August did you get your invite? Brginning or at the end of the month? i received mine at the end of Aug. and I got a Feb date!!

Case just stretches their interviews out over a very long period of time. This past week, our class had a meeting with the dean, and he told us that they do this to make sure that they don't offer more acceptances than they have seats for. Last year, I received an interview invitation in September, but the actual interview wasn't until January. I was accepted 2 weeks after the interview. A lot of people don't have the patience to wait for Case if they have a late interview and have already been accepted somewhere else. It's totally up to you after December 1st, but Case is a top notch school that definitely deserves consideration.

I just got off the phone with Case to schedule my interview... next day is APRIL 10TH 😱😱😱 hahahaha... talk about booked. An interview is an interview I suppose... no complaints here

I got the invitation in the mail the first week of August. I called them the next day and set it up. From what I understood when I called, Case is only interviewing 3 people per day. That might be another reason that they are so far out there with the dates already. I might be wrong, but the receptionist said, "okay, be sure to be here on time, since you and the two other people we are interviewing that day will have a full day..." 😕

yeah they only interveiw 3 or 4 people per day 3 days per week and i think that they dont interview in december but i am not sure about that. the dean said that primary seat for the class of 2012 werent filled to may of last year i think so late interviews arent horrible thing but you can always call in every once in a while to see if they have any cancellations before your date.

Hey guys I just want to share with you my invited for an interview with case. I just got my package yesterday snail mail, I called this morning and my interview is for April 22th 🙁. But anyway I am very happy I am getting interviews (this is my second one hurry!!!)

okay so i haven't received and interview from case but i haven't been rejected either. I was just asked to send in the money and what not. If they are booked up that late and fill seats by may, should I assume that I'm not getting an interview and they just haven't broken the news yet? I wish they'd just keep me posted.
