Hello everybody so I am blessed with a tough decision and just want more opinions. Currently accepted at two schools and already paid to hold my seat at Case Western but have 14 days to pay to hold my seat for Louisville. Both are OOS programs and roughly cost the same.
Case Western
Pros
-small class size -75
-New Health Professionals building
-Friendly faculty, staff, and students.
-interprofesional teaching
Cons
-Weather
- not too sure about the clinical exposure.. would love to hear the point of view of a student currently attending.
Louisville
Pros
-Friendly Faculty and staff
-Incorporating Digital Dentistry In curriculum
-Better weather for a Florida boy
-Ranked In research
Cons
-Larger class size
-D4 student mentioned how implants are not a part of curriculum and how she doesn’t feel prepared due to patient Pool. Really gave me a weird vibe.. but I know it’s only one opinion.
Overall looking for a program that will give me the most clinical exposure and not really worried about the social aspect of the city.
