No explanation, no this is why Case is so badass, no nothing? 🙂 Don, are you going to go to Case
i'm all about case right now!
Case....in Capital Letters...

Both schools are famous for clinical experiences. Case has more money than temple, it has a bit more research going on. Case uses partial PBL, it has a nicer facility, much better technology, and a beautiful campus. Also in Case, you're getting your own operatory. Temple only has like 2 Sim lab chairs, and case has sim lab chairs for everybody.
The only reasons I could think of temple over case is, tuition, perhaps a bit more patients, but not much difference, and if you like philly.
My response is not biased, just merely what i saw when i go to interview. I got into temple and still waiting for case's response.

You don't need a sim chair to be a good dentist. We have 2 sim chairs, and I don't know if they have been used since they were bought. In my opinion, they are a waste of time.
Temple is a lot cheaper than Case. Living is quite cheap here in Philly and tuition is a lot cheaper.
Case Western has a strong presense in the health world. Temple has very little.

Sim labs? SIM LABS?!? You guys know why they have those right? Because they don't have real patients to work on.😀
Location...Cleveland vs. Philly That is a hard one. NY & DC are two hours away. Tourist crap in Philly>Cleveland. Phillie playas clubs>Cleveland
BUT Cleveland does have king james.
Cas3 is NEWER, and NICER. Temple isn't that bad though (the lecture rooms need some work...) but who cares?
Temple and Case might hand you the same amount of dental work (Temple will have a slight edge) BUT as far as a school letting you do something as long as your're comfortable Temple will win.
In other words if your patient wants 10 implants after 10 extractions...and you want to do them. If you are somewhat capable then you will get to do them.
Plus first year at Temple isn't very demanding. You are eased into the program. Why do you think i am on here all the time?
I know a lot of guys at Case though and they like it a lot.

Case has everything that philly can offer except proximity to NYC.
Case:
Major league sports
Tons of poor poeple to work on
R&R hall of fame
football hall of fame
great golf courses
Kirtland (for mormons)
Natural science museum
theatre district
little italy
3 half days per week
Case over temple in my mind 👍

I consider Philadelphia a real city (5th largest in population).. not so with Cleavland(#39)...
of course thats not the only factor, nor is it the most important factor

so you mean there are more people to rob you? 😉
Ouch Diz, but that is true, the school isn't really located in the nicest part of town. I would choose Case.
As far as tuition, as a non-resident for both schools, I thought Case worked out to be about the same.
Case says
1st year: 70,000
2nd: 65,000
3rd:62,000
4th: 59,000
And Temple says
1st year: 65,000
2nd: 63,000
3rd and 4th: 59,000
Those both include the 15,000 for housing. So they really aren't that different right? Or am I missing something.
Plus, just from what Brian told us at Temple, and what I've found online through Case, housing is considerably cheaper in Cleveland right?

housing is indeed very cheap in cleveland...you can find places for a little more than 200/month if you wanted. i got into case and am canceling my interview at temple
you forgot to tell them that's if you live in the basement of the Delt house like me. lol
how would you guys rate case compared to BU or tufts?
is case's reputation better?
do students at case have better chances of specializing than BU or tufts because tufts class sizes are larger?

Dont know much about philly, but I do know a lot about Cleveland, since I live there. I know a lot of people were talking about all of the great things in Cleveland, and I would just like to say, they must not live here if that is what they are saying. Case is actually in a very dangerous part of town. May not look to bad, but when the sun goes down, you wouldnt catch me walking to and from the library. Also, the sports teams, come on...we have the cavs, but you have to be joking to even CONSIDER the indians or the browns as a "pro" team since they are absolutely terrible. we do have the rock and roll hall of fame, but you go there like once and then thats it...same with the science museum, which is really for kids...I have been on a couple of interviews and have been shocked by how clean other cities are...Cleveland has to be one of the dirtiest cities I have ever seen! And Poor at that....but hey, if that is what you want to see every day, go for it....
