3 days a week are 1/2 days with independent learning 4 hours per day (the rest of the day). PBL each day.

I like the independence of pushing myself or holding off so I dont burn out. It will be an advantage to students who work hard and are motivated. It will be fun to be the 1st class to try the new curriculum (good or bad). I think Case finally reeled me in.

No. Go to the Case website and look at curriculum innovation, committee members, and then first year schedule 2006-2007. Look at the schedule. PBL and independent study 3 days a week (give or take). I dont think it is just free study time. You are actually given topics to study and then present the case during the problem base learning sessions.

It sounds exciting to research topics and learn to solve problems on our own. 🙂
