Case Western Interview

I recently was invited for an interview at Case Western. When I called to schedule, I was told that the first opening they have is not until April. Is this surprising to anyone else? I was thinking I would probably have to wait maybe a month or two but over 6 months?! Any help or info is appreciated!

I scheduled mine a week ago or so and the first available was in March. I think someone said Case only interviews a couple people per day and take more time to fill up their class, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

yeah i was wondering the same thing. When's your interview? Are you gonna sleep in the frat house?

Case is one of the first schools to start giving out interviews, they begin notifying applicants earlier in the summer. On top of that they only interview 3 people a day, so the slots fill up VERY quickly. If you submitted your stuff late, then your chances for an pre-december interview are gone no matter what kind of stats you have. I made sure to get everything in as soon as I could for this reason, you need to do your research so that things like this don't take you by surprise.

Case told me that they have my file on hold until they receive my fall grades...

which will be like ~late january? gees =3=

hopefully interviews free up post-dec. but I am not really banking on one 🙁

Thanks for all the help....my interview date is April 6th and I am probably going to stay at the frat house although I still have to call to make reservations.

Don't feel too bad. My case interview is in February, and a friend of mine isnt interviewing till March. However, I was assured that we all still had an equal shot 😀 for the same spots.

I got mine in April. I called them and they told me that they have spots reserved for interviewees each month that they are having their interview in. We hopefully should be fine 🙄

Yes! So it just wasn't me. I was kinda worried when she said April. I was kinda confused the first time. Anyone know why they interview so late?
