Anyone know how long one hears about the Final Decision Post-Interview?

Good to see that I'm not the only SDNer who was at case on halloween. If I may ask which applicant were you? What did you think of Case compared to other schools you have been too? I was the only one who was interviewing at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner program as well. I was told by my interviewer, Dr. Binder, that the comittee is meeting on Monday and decisions will go out about one week after that.

I liked Case compared to other schools. Only thing I didn't like was starting so early 🙁 and lack of hockey team in there (Booo). To me it was comparable to UPitt. I would love to get accepted to both and have a choice if those are my only 2 acceptances. I didn't interview for the Cleveland Clinic obviously (but I did decide to talk to them that day and have decided to try and apply for it). Hopefully they give me an interview.

I interviewed at Case on 10/18 and found out I was put on hold on 10/31, so it was less than 2 weeks turnaround (although I'd rather have heard nothing than "we will continue to review your application throughout the year").

I also interviewed at Pitt 10/17. thought it was vrey similar to Case, although the facutly at Case seemed much more friendly. Having lived in both cities, they are themselves very similar. I'd pick Case over Pitt given the choice of both.

Ya they did say anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks.

How do they let you know about an Acceptance? By e-mail or Phone call? I know some letter in mails comes eventually anyways.

I was there on 10/21 and Dr. Heneghan said the admissions committee meets every 3 weeks. They met on 10/24 and gave out decisions up through 10/21 then (I'm guessing they gave out decisions from all dates up to that point, but I can't be positive), so it looks like they'll meet again on 11/14. You should probably receive a letter by Friday or Saturday of that week. Good luck!

I figure you'll probably hear within a couple of weeks I figure. If that post is right above you were just after the 10/21 meeting so it probably a little bit before they meet again.
