Hey all

I completed my case secondary, had letters sent etc... in late Sept. in anticipation of my Aug MCAT score release (my first set of scores) My question: is Case slow in updating their status page? or do they simply not update it until they have actually reviewed the app? (according to the page, my application is either not complete or it hasn't been reviewed...very vague designation.)
I don't really want to call at this point, but I did have my letters resent just in case...hehe...no pun... 😉

any insight is much appreciated

I would call them.

I called to confirm my app completion and they told me that they weren't sure if they had recieved my check. After they found out that I did indeed send my check in, I got interviews to both Case & Cleveland Clinic.

The secretary btw, Mary, is really sweet!

it took 3 weeks for them to acknowledge recieving my check, and then literally the day after my file was complete i got interview invitations for both CCLCOM and CWRU. hang in there!

it took a long ass time to review my phile....

and then when they did i got a rejection letter....i think it took about 5 weeks after my file was complete.

it takes a while for them to update the site... UNLESS you call and catch somebody in a good mood to update it for you. 😀

Definitely give them a call if you've given them ample time to receive and process items. I called last week because my status page said "no" under "reviewed and marked as complete?". The lady put me on hold for about 5 minutes and came back and said that they had everything they needed, but later emailed and let me know that for some reason, they didn't have my essay. She let me send it as an attachment to her.

I dunno if it was just wid my file, but i sent everything in in early september, and they didn't mark my file complete until mid october. I received an interview offer a week ago... so I'm guessing they review completed files really quickly or really slow at posting when the file was actually complete. I applied through AMCAS to Case - this sounds like a stupid question but I really don't know the answer - does this mean I applied to both Cleveland Clinic and Case? Or just Case?

i was confused about this, too. when you get the secondary from case, you can specific if you want to apply to the clinic program, the college program, or both.

just case. when you are sent the link to their secondary application, you specify which school into which you are applying for admission. (can't end a sentence w/ a preposition, y'know)

How do you check your status online? everytime i click ont he application status link i get sent back to the iapply homepage

Did you log in first? You have to log in before checking your status otherwise it'll just link you back to the iapply homepage.
