CASPer exam importance for acceptance at dental schools such as BU GSDM

I would like to know how important is the CASPer test that is required for ppl to interview at BU? I felt that I have done badly at it. How much impact will it have on my app since I have good DAT scores and GPA as well as an almost stellar compelling interview that I've had?

Well they saw you as a competitive enough applicant to offer an interview invite, which is saying something. However I don't think the 25% quartile does you any favors, but if your GPA, interview, and DAT scores were good, Im sure you are fine. I know some schools are relying on CASPer with more vigor within the past few years, but I don't think it is at the point were it is making or breaking your application. Then again, only GDSM adcoms will know the real answer to this question.

I got 2nd quantile and I never heard anything from schools that require Casper. So...

I can speak from my experience, since only one of the schools I applied to required it. I scored in the 1st quartile, but ended up getting accepted to that school. I think as long as you do well in the interview then you will be fine!

I did but havnt heard back yet! However I applied a bit later than the other schools so that is probably why
