I’ve been trying to take my casper for a while, but have had fall camp the past month and am now in season for my sport. My practice times always interfere with the test times. I’m physically unable to take it until September 8th, a Sunday..

1. Will this delayed casper results really hurt me if i already submitted my secondaries?

2. Is this worth a letter to the committee or an entry in an “anything else” box? I don’t want it to look poorly on me about the huge gap between submission and score results...

At the schools Ive applied to so far that need CASper they made it clear that my app wont be marked complete/ready until the score is available. You can expect that your app will be complete around mid late Sept

Submission of secondaries is not the same thing as being marked complete. At all of the schools I applied to that required CASPer, you wouldn't be marked complete (or even reviewed) before your CASPer results came in, similar to how you need all of your letters even if you've already submitted.

You need to take CASPer ASAP. Not being able to prioritize medical school apps over your sport is a problem, and I can't see adcoms looking upon you trying to justify your lack of preparation favorably. There have been ELEVEN test dates, all announced since March. Your failure to prepare or let your coaches know that you need even one day for CASPer (which is an online test that takes no more than 2 hours) is really not going to help, and any kind of "explanation" at this point will just look like excuses.

There are two test dates today. Cancel or call out of practice and take the test. If you don't take it today, you'll be complete in late September, which is a bit late for the MD cycle.

Unless you play SEC football and have some nfl scouts coming to the practices Id recommend putting Casper over practice

I do, and I tried and can’t. I added these two casper schools last minute, and they’ll have to be completed late unfortunately :/ as I now have no choice.

I don't have a lot of casper specific advice, I just want to say that as a former pre-med D1 athlete, I feel your pain. Its difficult to explain how hard it is to prioritize anything over practice/competition, especially when your sport is paying for your education. Hang in there and good luck!

Thank you for saying this, I hope this cycle goes great for you.

Casper requires no preparation and only takes about 90 minutes to do. There is one tonight at 8PM EST. If you are available, I would do that.
I was originally signed up for today, but i found out yesterday that practice was moved to the evenings (ends around 8:30)

I tried that too but he got angry and walked off

What would be the consequence if you did the same (just got angry and walked off)? Like, would there be anything legit that would happen?

Never thought of that haha. Get benched, run the stadium, let my teammates and coaches down
