i love cats, especially tigers, but those don't seem to be low maintenance...or legal in most cases

in which case, i like cats that look most like tigers....so far i think the american short hair is the most tiger like.....does anyone know of another cat that looks like a tiger?

the bengal also looks cool, but more jaguar like

a lynx would be cool to have too, i think

I will be living off campus and I am going to get myself a kitty 🙂 I love cats, all of them. I am thinking of all-white male cat with blue eyes who is a sweety and "talks" a lot. 🙂 miau miau miau

My girlfriend and I have had a cat for about 6 months, adopted from Paws. My only regret is that we didn't adopt two!!! He's a great cat, but I feel bad that we have to leave him alone for such a huge part of the day...when I get home from work he's always standing at the door waiting for me, and he goes bananas with the attention he gets after all that silence. If there was another cat around, they could entertain eachother while we are gone....I think that would be good for them.

As a side note, having a pet is a very therapeutic experience for me, especially when I come home and am stressed out...there's always this other being there to welcome me. I've really enjoyed it.

Yes, you are right, most of them are. Although, my friend adopted an all-white-blue-eyes cat, and he is not deaf, totally normal. So I am hoping I can find myself one just like that 🙂

i wish i could just live off-campus if i end up going to a nyc school, but the housing costs just seem too high outside of subsidized housing. pets are such great stress relief, it sucks that they aren't allowed.
