I think I'm going to take courses at the local CC school to get my GPA to a 3.0 and my sci gpa to a 3.0.. is it okay if i take some art bull **** classes? since i'm going to get my MPH anyway..

after both are at 3.0, I am going to start my MPH.. and while taking MPH courses, i'm going to apply to med school.. what do you think?

Summer- 2 bull**** courses and general chem two.

fall- orgo chem 1 with lab.. phycis 1 with lab... two mph courses at new york medical college
spring- same thing but the next level..

and then
MCAT summer of 2008 and start MPH full time while applying to medical school

Completely off topic, but I thought this thread was going to be about cubic centimeters and miles per hour.

Too much MCAT PS, I think. 🙂

I thought that this post was going to be about physics also.

Are you interested in art? If not, I don't see a point in wasting your time and money taking classes with the sole purpose to increase your gpa. Plenty of classes exist such as nutrition, which counts towards your science gpa for DO schools, that might not be really time-consuming but would give you useful information.
If art is your hobby or interest, then take art classes. If not, take classes that will actually be worth your time and cash.

Are these retakes?

Just some advice - from personal experience: Definitely don't take an art class because you think its going to be easy and not time consuming. Art classes *can* require a lot of outside class time...just to even pass. They would probably require even more outside time in the summer (i.e. shorter semester). I agree with the above poster....if you're not interested in art, take nutrition or something you might actually use some day. Not to mention that if you take a drawing class and can't draw, what would that do to your grade? Just a thought....

If you are interested in art though....go for it.
