I was wondering if LECOM or Western University cares where you take your prerequisite classes. Does it matter if they are all at a Community College? I know some schools like MCPHS really look at where you take your classes. Are there any schools out there that don't really care?

P.S. Sorry if this question was already asked in other Threads.

I remember this question was asked at a Western info session. They said that it doesn't matter where you take the classes, as long as you do well. I think a CC would be fine.

This might sound like a rant and I didn't take classes at the community college but honestly if any college accepts individuals directly from High school then how could they be picky about a community college vs. 4 year institution? The community college applicants seem to get a bad rap on here and I think it is based on the false premise that somehow they are being scuttled through without learning anything to receive an A. If so then why does it come out that ivy league schools give inflated grades to make their university look better yet some people give those students more respect?

What about schools like Temple, or Rutgers? How do they feel about students taking pre-reqs at CC?
Thanks

I agree with you totally. I used to attend UC Davis and it is no different then the CC that I go to now. My CC is ranked 2nd in the state and I still get no respect at all. I admit that some CC are very easy yet there are many that are a lot tougher then some 4-year.
