Does anyone want to plan a get-to-know-you BBQ for this summer for the CCOM MS-1's? Any Chicagoland natives and students already in the area should get together. Post your suggestions everyone!

I would LOVE to be there, but alas, I am not a native and won't be joining you guys until the last week of August. 🙁

Hey there guys, sounds good to me. I live in the naperville area...i would love to have it at my place, though its not huge. So if we have a really large group (id say no more than 15) we might want to do it at a public park maybe herrick lake or something. otherwise i can host it here...i have a grill, on my patio, but also have a pool, sand volleyball court and putting green as well as public bbq's in my complex...just a few suggestions!!!! I work close to 50 hours a week right now, but thursday and fridays are my days off...so that would be best for me...tell me what ya think

I think a bbq the last week of August would be great. I'm from Cleveland and will be moving to Chicago the beginning of august. I'm going this weekend to look for an apartment. I can't wait to move there after being in Cleveland for so long. Anyhow I just wanted just wanted to get on the invite list.

I'm living in Chicago right now and plan to move to the suburbs when school starts. I'd be very interested in a BBQ although my summer weekends are becoming more and more booked. Let me know if anyone decides to do something earlier than the end of August.

Yes...definetly....looks like the bbq's will be happening around the trad dorms...

Another option we have is to go out to the city to go clubbing for a night out....id be willing to get up some deals at any of the top clubs downtown...anyone else down?

we're all def planning on buca di beppo as well for dinner after the first day of orientation....yummy 🙂
