Yeah..I was just there. What do you want to know?
They seem really proud of their match lists. I was surprised to see that there were lots of allopathic residencies - probably about half. They have traditional lecture, I think 8 to 4, with tests twice a week. Boards were good...all I remember is 92% for the first part, 96% second...forgot the third.
It was nice - kinda lacking technology in my opinion, but I guess it doesn't matter there. Also, on campus housing doesn't look so hot. Off campus housing gets pretty expensive in Downers Grove/Naperville area. CCOM has about 1400 students total between all their health programs. Tuition was $36k-ish for out-of-state people, $31k-ish instate. You have to be in the state living and paying taxes (not just there for school) for a year to be a resident. Students were nice and friendly towards each other, which was encouraging. They do mingle between programs.
I think it's nice that you're considering your wife like that...you'll be unavailable most of the time...it'll be nice for her to have family around and people she knows to do things with.
