CCOM email?

Did anybody else get an email from CCOM entitled "Why Consider CCOM?" The email lists a bunch of reasons why I should go there, and then at the end says, "doinmybest5840, let us educate and train you to become the osteopathic physician that you envision! Become a part of our proud legacy and rich tradition! Become a part of CCOM today!" Do they just send this to everybody who applies there, or is this some sort of cryptic way of saying something else? Thanks! I hope everybody is having a nice weekend. 🙂

I got the one a few weeks ago, and the new one today. The way it is written sounds very encouraging, but it's still probably just a mass e-mail marketing piece. I'm not getting too excited about getting it, and I wouldn't be too worried if I didn't receive it either. If the e-mail was an interview invite, well then there would be some major excitement.

I did click on all of the links this morning, so it definitely worked as a marketing tool.

that must be new this year b/c i got something similar along with my secondary through snail mail last year 😛 if anyone has any q's about ccom, i'd be happy to help...we start orientation in a week, so i'll do my best to answer as best i can 🙂

CCOM does mention that any new updates will be via snail mail. So I guess we have to stalk the mail carrier everyday. 🙂

if you activate that interact account thing you can see updates for your supplemental stuff and they email you when you recieve stuff... after that its all snail mail

Thats cool. I have this feeling that those of you getting this email are the applications being reviewed. there may even be interview invites going out (remember they will send that by mail). I guess this is a moot point if all of you didn't submit secondary applicatioins, but it seems like you did. This would suck for me, because I have not gotten one.

I think it's safe to say that none of us have any idea what, if anything, that e-mail is for. It'd be great if it were the precursor to an interview invite, but anything's possible in this process. It could just as easily be a, "Thanks for the secondary! Don't forget about us while we spend the next 3 months interviewing other people," e-mail. ...although I hope not.
