Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows has any details about CCOM's pre-doc omm fellowship? I am starting at Midwestern in the fall and was just curious about their OMM program. I couldn't find many details on the Midwestern website or here on SDN. I am mostly wondering about when students apply, how competitive, any perks (waive tuition, stipend, etc.) and responsibilities. Thanks in advance.

People who are interested in the OMM fellowship apply during winter quarter of 2nd year. You have to submit the paper application, I think after winter break and then the OMM faculty starts the interviewing process. As far as competitiveness, it depends on how many people apply each year because the dept only takes 2 people each year. The perks is that your tuition is paid for during your clinical years but clinical years will be 3 instead of 2 years. As a fellow, you help teach OMM to first and second years and you have extra OMM rotations. Hope that helps!
