CCOM Question

Hey guys I had a question about CCOM. I interviewed at the school two weeks ago (Dec. 6) and I got a call from the school last Friday saying that I had been accepted and that they were mailing me additional information 🙂 . Unfortunately I haven’t received anything yet, but that may be because I live in Indiana and most of the state has been shut down due to the whether and the holidays. I was wondering if anyone else had been interviewed and/or accepted during the same time frame and if they had received their letter from CCOM. I was also wondering what the deposit date is for people that have been recently accepted. Thank you.

Hey, I interviewed on the 9th and received a call the following friday saying I was accepted. I live in a suburb about 30 minutes away from CCOM and have also not received any letters from them. I did call and aks when the deposit was due, they said the initial 250.00 was due by jan. 26

Thanks for the info BERNZ. Hopefully we will get our letters in the mail early this week. So, will you be going to CCOM?

No problem...and yes, I will definately be attending CCOM in the fall. I was lucky enough to receive the acceptance call from CCOM soon enough that I was able to put a stop payment on my deposit to MSUCOM, Im realy lookin forward to CCOM.

Hi! Still nothing in my mailbox either. My interview was on 12/7 and I received the acceptance call on the same day as all of you. I'm glad to know the date on which the first deposit is due. Thanks for sharing the info.

After the phone call, I received the materials about 2 weeks later. There are two desposits due. One is $250 and the other is $750 at two different dates. They also want transcripts but that's not due until Aug 2005. And We are suppose to get info on immunization records and what to send them, but I didn't get that yet. They also said that they will send financial aid info.

Hi guys I just wanted to give another update. I contacted the admissions office this Tuesday and they said that the admissions letter for our batch went out later that day because of the holidays. So, if we are lucky we will get the letters this Friday, if not then it should be early next week….on a personal note I really liked CCOM and I am looking forward to attending the school. Even though I have received the acceptance call it doesn’t really feel “official” yet, so I am anxiously awaiting the letter’s arrival. Anyway, I hope the rest you guys have a happy and safe New Years, and hopefully we will meet in the future. Thanks.

Samiuam, I feel exactly the same way about it not feeling "official" until I receive the letter! Anyhow, I think later on when more people have been accpeted to CCOM and join this thread we should try to meet up, that would be cool. Have a safe and happy new year all!

Im a lil delayed in the process ... so I had a question for you all about the 500 word essay --- my essay is turning out to be around 600 words... do you think that its ok to submit or should i really work on cutting the words down to 500?

My essay was about 550 words, I think as long as its one page and not too crammed you should be alright. I dont think there going to sit and count every word on your essay, ya know? Try and slim it as much as you can,
