There's a PCOM waitlist thread on the main page, I thought I'd start a CCOM waitlist thread. So who else is hoping to get off that list? I've written some letters so far. I am wondering what else can be possibly done about this. Help us out ex-ccom waitlisters

Update with any new grades/activities/accomplishments/research, and tell them why these things further prove how well you fit with CCOM and what you will be able to contribute to the class.

The waitlist sucks, but anybody who is on it has been told that they're good enough to get into medical school and the school would be more than happy to have them. It's just that 200 other applicants got their first or were a little more convincing of their ability to contribute to the class. You definitely still have a shot of getting in there this year, but if you have to reapply, it should be fairly simple to lock in an acceptance. Hang in there!!

Thanks guys, I am all ready to move down to FL and have paid my deposit for NOVA but it'd be nice if I can get accepted to CCOM and stay in Chicago. Anyone accepted to CCOM but on the waitlist at NOVA wants to switch with me (like that's possible, haha)?

funny you should say that.. im leaving florida to go to ccom except im not looking back.

I got a call Tuesday from Mr. Laken saying that I have been accepted off of the Alternate List!!! My matriculation agreement showed up online yesterday as well. So for those of you waiting to hear call the admissions office and check online!! Good luck

PhillyOsteo, I must have just taken your spot because I got a call from CCOM yesterday saying I have been accepted off the waitlist....thank you, I have been waiting for this for a long time....best of luck....GO CCOM 2013!!!!
