I mailed out my app to CCOM a while ago. I know they say they email you when your status of materials changes. Well, my check was cashed on 9/29, so I know they recieved my supplemental app, but on my status check, it's still listed as Expected. About how long is it from the time they cash your check to it being updated? Anyone know?

Don't necessarily trust the Interact Now status!!!

I mailed my stuff to them in early August for the secondary and then I was complete mid august and I recieved an interview invite mid-Sept for the first day of interviews which was 25 Sept 2006. Infact my dtatus still remains incomplete i believe thru interact now...so calll them up and check!!! good luck!

On the main page, there's this little icon that says Interact Now! You have to sign up, and they should have sent you a number with your secondary app (the hard copy) that you enter in, and it will tell you all the things they recieved, or haven't recieved. It's towards the bottom left of the page.

When I called CCOM, their answering machine says that they do not do status checks over the phone anymore. I've been complete since 9/6 and still no word on if they got my materials or not!

That is ******ed! So many more ppl apply to MD schools and those schools do status checks. Loyola even sets a day of the week just for status checks. So how are we supposed to know if we're complete? Because you know ccom is so diligent on updating their website. 👎

If you have been completed for a while at CCOM, I recommend you to email them for a status check. They are really good about that. I emailed them yesterday and they replied today with an interview invite!!

I emailed them and they replied almost immediately. Still under review, which with my lower mcat score, is better than a rejection at this point.

I was complete 9/6. So that's a month in my case. I don't know what it would be for others. I know I wouldn't start worrying if you sent your secondaries back only 2 weeks ago.

The amount of application they have recieved this year is around 40% more than they recieved last year at this time.

Don't be surprised if they are a little backed up.
