Hi everyone.....i am currently preparing for step 3 and going thru the u world ccs questions. Anytime i follow the steps in the explanation and order surgery consult i get a reply saying " The consultant has no explicit management recommendation at this time please order any additional test, therapies or procedure if needed" . And i am doing everytin according to the explanation so i am a little confused here because this is the response i get all the time.

You are doing everything correctly, don't worry. The consultants (regardless of specialty) will NEVER offer any management advice. It is important to order consults, though, to show that you understand that you need that extra expertise to manage a patient. In surgery, for example, if you have a patient with suspected acute appendicitis, you will order general surgery consultation. Then you should follow up with ordering appendectomy, and if your diagnosis is correct the case will end immediately after your order. At least this was my experience with CCS software.
