I have 2 questions regarding CCS:

1. When you want to counsel a patient at the end of the case, do you set the timing as "now" or at a separate appointment like 2 weeks later?

2. If you diagnose a patient after several visits to office with an infection that needs antibiotics for 2 weeks. Do you just order the antibiotics and end the case OR order the antibiotics, schedule a visit 2 weeks later, cancel the antibiotics and end case?

When u order antibiotics, always counsel about compliance, and side effects of medication. Then re schedule them after 1 week or 10 days. If you do that, the case automatically may end showing that you did the right thing. Or sometimes, it will prompt for 'advancement of clock', and when you say 'yes', it will take you to the scheduled date and say ' patient has arrived for the appoinment'. Then u have to do interval examination and if the Rx is working, it will say ' pt feels better'..then case automatically ends.....
