I feel like they're hard. I get like 5 wrong on each test.

when i count them i get (side exposed left, # of cubes right.)
0-0
1-0
2-4
3-6
4-4
5-2
I leave out all the cubes that i cannot see except for cubes that are supporting. there are 2 cubes behind the 9 up front that you cannot see, so i assume that they are not there. therefore the 2 cubes attached to the front 9 should each have 3 sides. Im not sure where you were off on your counting, but hopefully this helps.
