Hey guys,

So I am really confused trying to wrap my around even picturing/visualizing how this Cube question works...Where is the bottom/side that's not exposed to the paint? Is it the right face of the image (the 5 blocks?) And how are there 12 cubes total??

I attached the picture below

Please let me know how to figure these types of cube counting questions out.

I'm only counting 3 as well. I don't think we will see something like this on the DAT.

Ohhhh that makes so much more sense, thanks djwon1! So then we wouldn't count the bottom faces of your cubes? I totally see it now.

If the cubes on the actual DAT are drawn like the illusions similar to some CDP questions, then Im screwed haha.
 
I still don't see how you can just switch it like that haha. It still doesn't make sense
