After doing my research, I am finally comfortable with the materials and methods that I think I need to do well on the DAT. However,

I have kind of a dilemma with the Reading section. Initially, I was just going to get the Achiever 7 test pack. So I figured that I would get enough reading practice from them. But now I am starting to hear better things about CDR and even the datQvault. So, I am thinking that maybe I should decrease the amount of Achiever and buy either the datQvault or CDR.

Does anybody have any opinions on what I should do?

Achiever's RC isn't very similar to the real DAT it is much more difficult. It is helpful to go through all 7 (I certainly did), but CDR is very accurate in measuring your score. I would definitely recommend Achiever for general use and bang for your buck, BUT if RC is your main concern then by all means CDR is excellent and probably better if I were to be objective.

I hear Achiever is a lot more difficult than the real thing (never personally used it though), which is good in the sense that it really prepares you (like Destroyer Science) but it can also decrease your confidence when you are scoring low.

I did use CDR and must say that it was very comparable to the real DAT in term s of difficulty and format of the test.

Can't offer any opinions about qVault.
